Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer

As Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Ira Genser leads the finance, legal and information technology teams for Iconex, the largest manufacturer of receipt paper and one of the fastest growing label companies worldwide. Using his expertise in analyzing business needs and organizing cross-functional resource teams to deliver optimal outcomes, Genser has led multi-year growth initiatives for Iconex, overseeing three acquisitions and subsequent integrations to add manufacturing capacity, while also managing debt leverage through two debt financings. Since joining the company in 2017, his efforts have created exceptional gains in record time.

Over more than 25 years of business leadership and financial stewardship, Genser has served in varied C-suite management roles, including chief executive officer, chief financial officer, chief operating officer and chief restructuring officer. He advised and formed operational strategies for clients of top tier accounting firm Arthur Andersen and professional services and management firm Alvarez and Marsal. Before joining Iconex, he served as a partner for Comvest Partners (through their subsidiary Operating Advisory Group), where he provided expert consultation to their middle market portfolio of companies, from due diligence through exit. With his ability to build collaborative teams and establish work processes that emphasize integrity and collegiality, Genser effectively improves operational and financial performance while maximizing stakeholder value and keeping coworkers highly engaged in achieving success.

He is a founding member of the Iconex Inclusion Council, a resource group devoted to breaking down barriers between colleagues of diverse backgrounds. Outside of the company, he serves on the Southeastern board of directors for the Anti-Defamation League and sits on its executive committee. He recently served as the leadership development chair for The Temple’s board of trustees and continues to advise on special projects.
