Thermal Paper Prices are Increasing

Thermal paper prices are increasing in North America due to rising input costs and a reduction of thermal paper imports. Iconex has challenged this increase and delayed passing it to the North American market as long as possible.

As a result, Iconex is announcing an increase of 7.0% on all one sided direct thermal paper grades. The new pricing will be effective with orders shipped on or after September 1, 2017.

These same market dynamics have driven the mills to announce a second increase that will be effective in the fourth quarter of 2017. The exact amount and effective dates of this second increase are still being challenged by Iconex on your behalf.
